Four masked perpetrators intercepted employees of a Penny store in Oberhausen after closing time on Friday evening. They threatened the employees with a knife and forced them to lie on the floor behind the checkout area. The store manager was beaten and forced at knifepoint to open the safe. The perpetrators fled with a four-figure cash sum in a dark car toward the A3 motorway. The manager sustained minor injuries and was taken to hospital.
