Man remanded in custody after knife attack on former partner and neighbour
A 40-year-old man is accused of attacking his former partner and a 29-year-old man with a knife in Reutlingen during the night of 6 August, slightly injuring both. After a barbecue party, he allegedly forced his way through a window into his former partner's apartment, hit her and injured her with the knife. The woman fled to a neighbour, and the suspect allegedly attacked the 29-year-old when witnesses came to help. Police arrested the suspect at the scene, and a judge ordered pre-trial detention while the investigation continues.
