Knife displayed during altercation in Reutlingen

During the night into Saturday, an initial verbal dispute occurred on Unter den Linden street in Reutlingen between an unidentified man and a group of three. When the three young men later approached a man in a threatening manner, a 54-year-old stepped in. One of the men then allegedly struck him several times with a belt, causing minor injuries, while at least one member of the group is said to have held a knife without using it. Police later checked a 20-year-old who had been recognised as one of those sought. He allegedly insulted officers and kicked at one of them but did not hit him; the investigation into his involvement in the original altercation continues.
