Man remanded in custody after stabbing in Querfurt
After an initially verbal argument near a discount store on Merseburger Straße in Querfurt, a man allegedly stabbed a 30-year-old with a knife. The 30-year-old suffered a serious neck injury and was in life-threatening condition, according to police. He was flown by rescue helicopter to a hospital in Halle and treated in intensive care. Officers located a 28-year-old suspect near the scene shortly after the incident. He was remanded in custody, while investigations into attempted manslaughter continue.
