Man injured with knife during dispute in Güstrow
At about 03:45 on 19 June, a 32-year-old man forcibly entered the Güstrow apartment of a 28-year-old man after the resident did not respond to his request to come outside. A physical confrontation followed in the entrance area. The 28-year-old was holding a knife and injured the other man in the shoulder. The injured man ran into the street and was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Police are investigating the 28-year-old on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and the 32-year-old on suspicion of making threats. Investigators are also examining whether the 28-year-old acted in self-defence.
