Man no longer in critical condition after stabbing injury in Querfurt
Shortly after midnight on 24 February, several people were involved in an altercation outside an apartment block on Buchenweg in Querfurt, during which shots were fired from a blank-firing gun. A 20-year-old man suffered a stab injury to the abdomen and required emergency surgery. He is now out of life-threatening danger. Police identified a 23-year-old suspect and seized a knife from him as a possible weapon for forensic examination. Whether that knife caused the injury remains unresolved.
