Attempted knife robbery in Prenzlau
A 28-year-old woman is alleged to have tried to take money from an elderly woman in Prenzlau on 26 February. The elderly woman was walking with her rollator in Wallgasse when the woman demanded money, kicked the rollator and continued to follow her. The suspect is also alleged to have held a knife and kicked towards the elderly woman. A witness assisted the victim, and the woman then left in the direction of Schwedter Straße. After later reporting her whereabouts herself, she was provisionally detained by police. She is being investigated on suspicion of attempted aggravated robbery.
