Knife drawn during dispute in Neuseddin

Two men became involved in a dispute over a jointly used bicycle at an accommodation facility in Neuseddin on Tuesday evening. The confrontation escalated into a physical altercation in which a 23-year-old man struck the other man, aged 34, with a wooden board. The older man drew a kitchen knife in an effort to defend himself but did not injure anyone with it. He suffered minor injuries from the blows, received treatment from emergency services and was taken to a hospital in Potsdam for further examinations. Police opened investigations into mutual bodily-harm offences.
