Attempted robbery with butterfly knife in Potsdam
On 5 August, a 34-year-old man allegedly threatened a 21-year-old with an open butterfly knife at Platz der Einheit in Potsdam. The man asked about valuables, but the victim fled and no property was handed over. Police found the suspect at Platz der Einheit shortly afterwards, provisionally detained him and seized the knife. Investigators are treating the case as attempted robbery.
