Man threatens opponent with knife in Plauen

A 24-year-old man allegedly threatened a 36-year-old man with a knife during a verbal dispute outside a supermarket at Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz in Plauen on 22 April. Police said the man then injured himself with the knife and left toward a tram stop. Officers located him there and seized a knife and a pair of trousers. He was taken to hospital because of his injuries. Police said he later resisted there, slightly injuring a police officer who remained fit for duty. Reports were filed including for threats and resisting enforcement officers.
