Man threatens opponent with kitchen knife in Pirmasens
A 51-year-old man and a 46-year-old man became involved in a verbal dispute in Pirmasens pedestrian zone at around 6 p.m. on 11 June. Police said the 51-year-old fetched a kitchen knife and threatened to kill the other man. The other man then produced a screwdriver and in turn threatened the 51-year-old. The 51-year-old's partner took the knife from him, after which he fled. Officers caught up with him and kept him in police custody overnight.
