Man allegedly tried to stab another man in Pforzheim
A 32-year-old man allegedly tried to stab a 30-year-old man with a knife in Ringstraße in Pforzheim on Sunday morning. He had reportedly first struck at the man several times, but the intended victim avoided the blows. When the suspect took a knife from his backpack and allegedly tried to stab him again, a 58-year-old intervened and prevented a further attack. The helper sustained minor injuries, while the originally targeted man was uninjured. The suspect was arrested after a short flight. A judge issued and enforced a detention order on suspicion of attempted manslaughter.
