Man in pre-trial detention after Pforzheim knife attack
A 30-year-old man was seriously injured during an altercation in an apartment in Pforzheim's Nordstadt district overnight from Sunday to Monday. Following an initial verbal argument, a 41-year-old man is alleged to have drawn a knife and inflicted a serious upper-arm injury. Police officers stopped severe bleeding at the scene before the injured man was taken to hospital for treatment. The suspect initially fled but was arrested shortly afterwards. A judge issued a detention order on suspicion of dangerous bodily harm, and he remains in pre-trial detention.
