Knife struggle in Paderborn-Elsen: Helper treats injured man
On the evening of 14 October 2025, two men became involved in a physical altercation on the pavement of Gesselner Straße in Paderborn-Elsen. They were on the ground pulling at a kitchen knife, with one holding the handle and the other holding the blade. A 35-year-old paramedic passing by on a bicycle told them to let go, moved the knife away with his foot and secured it. He then treated one participant's facial injury and arranged for police to be called.
