Man allegedly forced neighbour in Ostallgäu to hand over stereo using folding knife

In a small community in northern Ostallgäu, a 62-year-old man is alleged to have forced his 75-year-old neighbour to hand over a stereo by displaying a folding knife on 10 October. The man had first offered 50 euros for the stereo, but its owner demanded more money. Police said the prospective buyer showed the knife and then received the stereo. Shortly afterwards, he allegedly used the knife again while demanding back the 50 euros he had paid. Police found the stereo during a search and returned it to its owner. The suspect was provisionally detained and later released; the victim was not injured.
