Two men injured by stabbing in altercation in Olpe
Two men were injured by stabbing outside a hospitality venue on Westfälische Straße in Olpe on the evening of 8 June. According to the initial investigation, seven men aged between 23 and 40 were involved after relatives had intended to address an earlier dispute between two primary-school children. The dispute escalated into a physical confrontation in which a baton and a stabbing weapon were used. A 40-year-old man and a 23-year-old man each suffered a stab wound to the thigh; the younger man was also struck with the baton. Both left hospital after outpatient treatment. Police are seeking further witness accounts and possible video footage.
