Oldenburg: 20-year-old reportedly injured with knife
A 20-year-old man was attacked in central Oldenburg at around 23:10 on 19 June and, according to preliminary findings, was reportedly stabbed in the leg with a knife. An unidentified attacker allegedly put him in a chokehold at Lappan and struck him on the head before the assault continued on Grüne Straße. The main attacker was reportedly accompanied by another man. Both fled as witnesses approached. The injured man was taken to hospital but was able to leave after treatment. Police and prosecutors are investigating attempted manslaughter.
