Teenager allegedly robbed two e-scooters in Offenburg
A teenager allegedly robbed two girls of their e-scooters in Offenburg's western district on 13 October. At about 7 p.m. on Heimburgerstraße, he is said to have demanded the first scooter while threatening violence. About an hour later, he encountered the girls again on Berliner Straße and reportedly displayed a pocketknife and threatened physical violence to obtain the second scooter.
Police recovered one of the scooters nearby. The teenager was later provisionally detained following another police operation on Heimburgerstraße, and an investigating judge subsequently issued a pre-trial detention order on suspicion of robbery and aggravated robbery.
