Man dies after stabbing at Offenburg accommodation
A 45-year-old man died after being stabbed at shared accommodation in Offenburg. At about 3 a.m. on 22 June, he and a 28-year-old resident, both said by police to have been under the influence of intoxicants, became involved in a dispute. The 45-year-old sustained a stab wound, while his opponent sustained a head injury from a blow. The man with the stab injury died in hospital in the early morning despite emergency measures. The 28-year-old was provisionally detained at the scene and received medical treatment; criminal police are investigating how the confrontation unfolded.
