Man threatens passer-by with knife in Offenburg
A 27-year-old man allegedly threatened a 67-year-old passer-by with a knife he was carrying after an argument on Hauptstraße in Offenburg on 8 January. The older man restrained the suspect before he could take further action. Several bystanders then intervened, took the knife from him and held him until police arrived. Police said nobody was injured and that the man is under investigation.
