Man threatens police officers with knife in Offenbach
A 31-year-old man threatened attending police officers with a knife in his apartment in Offenbach on the evening of Tuesday, 5 August. Residents had previously reported a person causing a disturbance in an apartment building. The man was said to have been in a psychological crisis and allegedly hit and kicked at officers during his subsequent provisional detention. Police officers sustained minor injuries. The suspect was taken to a specialist clinic, and several proceedings are being pursued against him.
