Man detained after knife threat in Offenbach
A 29-year-old man is alleged to have insulted and threatened a woman near a kiosk at Untere Grenzstraße and Lämmerspieler Weg in Offenbach on Friday afternoon. Police said he had previously also made threats toward kiosk patrons. Witnesses reported that he was carrying a knife. Officers provisionally detained him at about 3:50 p.m., found a knife during a search and seized it. The man was taken into police custody after a breath alcohol test and a blood sample were taken.
