Minor detained after stabbing injury in Oer-Erkenschwick
A 43-year-old man was found with a stabbing injury in a garage courtyard on Ludwigstraße in Oer-Erkenschwick at about 9 p.m. on Saturday. He underwent emergency surgery and was at times in danger of dying. Police said the injured man and a minor are related. The minor initially fled but turned himself in to police on Sunday morning and was provisionally detained. A homicide squad is investigating, and the minor was due to be brought before a judge.
