Man dies after stab injury in Nuremberg

In Nuremberg, a 26-year-old man died after sustaining a stab injury during a dispute in an apartment building on Krugstraße. The confrontation occurred at about 7:30 p.m. on 2 February. Emergency responders initially treated the man at the scene, but he died later that evening in hospital from his severe injuries despite resuscitation efforts.

Police provisionally detained a 43-year-old suspect. A post-mortem examination confirmed the suspicion of a homicide. Following an application by the public prosecutor's office, an investigating judge issued a detention warrant against the man on suspicion of manslaughter. The circumstances behind the dispute remain under investigation.
