Man arrested after knife attack on flatmate in Nuremberg

A 59-year-old man is alleged to have injured his 50-year-old acquaintance with a knife in their shared flat in western Nuremberg on 29 November. The victim suffered a cut to the neck and was taken to hospital with injuries assessed as life-threatening. According to police, the suspect called emergency services himself and was arrested without resistance at the flat. Prosecutors applied for his detention, while police investigate suspected dangerous bodily harm and assume that a dispute preceded the incident.
