Teenager injured in Nuremberg attack with broken beer bottle

A 29-year-old man allegedly attacked two teenagers at Nuremberg Central Station on 12 October using a broken beer bottle. According to the Federal Police, he broke a beer bottle following a verbal dispute at a snack bar and ran toward the teenagers while making stabbing and thrusting motions. One teenager suffered a minor neck injury, while the other avoided the attack. Federal Police officers arrested the man at the scene. He is under investigation for dangerous bodily harm and is being held in pre-trial detention pending trial after prosecutors applied for detention.
