23-year-old injured with knife in Nuremberg
An unidentified man injured a 23-year-old in the head and hand with a knife at Spittlertorzwinger in central Nuremberg on Monday evening. The man was near the city moat with a companion at about 18:20 when he became involved in an argument with a man from a larger group. Following a brief exchange, the unidentified man pulled a knife, injured the 23-year-old and fled. After initial medical treatment, the injured man was taken to hospital; a life-threatening injury was ruled out and he was later discharged. The initial search did not locate the suspect.
