Woman killed by stab wounds in Nienburg
A 37-year-old woman was fatally wounded by stab wounds in a car park on Verdener Landstraße in Nienburg on 12 May. At around 7 p.m., emergency services received a call reporting that a man was threatening and attacking a woman.
The suspected offender initially fled by car. Officers stopped him while travelling to the scene after he approached police carrying a knife. He dropped the knife after repeated orders and was arrested. Police and prosecutors are investigating the 33-year-old suspect on suspicion of murder; the background remains under investigation.
