Knife attack after dispute in Bad Münder: suspect held in pre-trial detention
On 2 October 2026, following a dispute in an apartment in the Hachmühlen district of Bad Münder, a 28-year-old man allegedly thrust a knife towards the head and neck of his 29-year-old housemate and threatened to kill him. The housemate suffered a cut to his hand and was taken to hospital. He reported the attack in an emergency call at 23:23. Police detained the suspect in the garden of the building; he is now in pre-trial detention.
