Man injured in reported knife attack in Winsen
At about 7:35 p.m. on 22 May, a witness reported that a 36-year-old man had been injured with a knife on Rathausstraße in Winsen. The injured man received outpatient treatment at a hospital.
According to the witness, three alleged perpetrators fled towards Bahnhofstraße. During a search, police encountered two men aged 26 and 27 who matched the description and provisionally detained them. No knife was found on them. Initial findings indicate that the injured man and one of the three suspects had already been involved in disputes in the preceding days; police are investigating suspected dangerous bodily harm.
