Man dies after knife altercation in Neuötting
A knife altercation occurred in an apartment in Neuötting at about 6:55 a.m. on 23 June. A 64-year-old man sustained severe injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. A 51-year-old man initially fled but was arrested shortly afterwards near the scene. He was remanded in pre-trial detention on suspicion of a homicide offence. Investigators are still examining the precise sequence of events, background and motive.
