Man robs tanning salon in Neukirchen-Vluyn with folding knife
An unknown man allegedly robbed a tanning salon on Niederrheinallee in Neukirchen-Vluyn at around 4 p.m. on Friday. He showed an employee a folding knife, demanded money from the cash register and took banknotes. Earlier, an attempted robbery reportedly occurred at a nearby drugstore: the man also showed a knife to an employee there and demanded money, but took nothing. Investigators believe the same person may be responsible for both incidents. Police are seeking witnesses.
