Two injured in knife attack at Neu-Isenburg hotel
Police detained a 33-year-old man in Neu-Isenburg on suspicion of injuring two people with a knife on the morning of 23 September 2026. According to their initial findings, he had a verbal dispute with another guest in a hotel room on Frankfurter Straße at about 11:30 a.m. He allegedly picked up a knife and injured the guest. One of two witnesses who came to help also suffered superficial injuries from the blade. The suspect briefly fled but was detained during a police search. Officers seized the knife and carried out identification procedures and a blood draw at the police station.
