Machete attack after dispute in Nauen
At Lindenplatz in Nauen, a 22-year-old man is alleged to have pulled a machete from his jacket during a dispute and injured a 46-year-old man in the head. A group of five had previously approached him over damaged election posters. Another man was injured in the scuffle, and the 22-year-old sustained minor injuries after officers used pepper spray to bring him under control. All three injured men received outpatient treatment. The 22-year-old is also alleged to have verbally threatened the 46-year-old man and was provisionally detained; criminal police are investigating.
