Resident threatened with knife during police operation in Mutterstadt

Two men aged 23 and 25 became involved in a dispute with other residents at accommodation for asylum seekers on Waldstraße in Mutterstadt on 17 March. According to police, one resident threatened another resident with a knife. After police were called, the two suspects threw objects, including a wooden slat, at officers and continued moving toward them. A warning shot outside the facility caused the men to stop, and they were restrained. The two men and three other residents sustained minor injuries, while police officers were not injured. The suspects spent the night in police custody.
