Man allegedly threatened mother of his children with knife in Murr
A 42-year-old man allegedly threatened the 35-year-old mother of his two children with a knife in Murr on 23 March. Police said he had intercepted her on Steinheimer Straße despite an existing restraining order. She fled and alerted police.
The man initially went with the children to a nearby playground and ran when he saw a patrol car. Officers caught up with him, and he was provisionally detained without resistance after being warned that a police dog could be used. He was then taken to a psychiatric facility. Investigators are pursuing a threat allegation against him.
