Four suspects detained after robbery involving knife threat in Munich

Four suspects were detained near the scene after a robbery in Munich's Ludwigsvorstadt-Isarvorstadt district. A 19-year-old man was at the entrance to a gambling venue at around 3:40 a.m. on 15 October 2026 when a 31-year-old woman approached him and a dispute began. Three men aged 27, 33 and 38 joined them; investigators believe they were accompanying the woman. During the dispute, the four allegedly threatened the 19-year-old and displayed a knife. They are also suspected of physically attacking him, taking his shoulder bag and its contents, and leaving on foot in different directions. Police found all four nearby during the ensuing search and transferred them to a detention facility after recording the allegations. They were due to appear before a judge for a decision on detention; the investigation continues. The report does not say whether the 19-year-old was injured.
