Suspect arrested after knife threat at Munich petrol station
A 66-year-old petrol station employee escaped through a rear exit at about 03:10 on 7 October when a masked man demanded cash while holding a knife at a station on Plinganserstraße in Munich. The employee called police, and the man fled without taking anything. Nobody was injured. Officers searching the area arrested a 20-year-old suspect with the help of a police dog. He was taken to a psychiatric hospital after displaying unusual psychological behaviour while police recorded the complaint. Investigators are examining a possible link to a robbery at a petrol station on Innsbrucker Ring on 5 October, when a masked man also demanded cash with a knife and fled with the proceeds.
