Man found with stab wounds at Munich’s Scheidplatz
A 21-year-old man sustained several stab wounds at Scheidplatz in Munich. Passers-by found him at a bus stop at around 1:45 a.m. on Sunday, October 4, 2026; the exact time he was injured was not reported. He had lost a substantial amount of blood, was taken to hospital and underwent immediate surgery. He is no longer in life-threatening danger. Police arrested an 18-year-old suspect without resistance on Wednesday. The suspect is alleged to have inflicted the wounds, and a warrant was issued for his arrest on suspicion of attempted manslaughter. Investigators say the two men belong to the same circle of friends. The motive is unknown, and police are seeking witnesses.
