Men arrested after petrol station robbery in Munich

In Munich, a masked offender threatened an employee at a petrol station with a knife at around 8 a.m. on 16 March and ordered her to empty the till. He fled with a mid-three-figure sum of cash to an accomplice waiting on a motorcycle, and the two left the scene. The employee was not injured.

Following inquiries, police obtained search warrants. Two men were arrested in one apartment. One sustained minor injuries after jumping from the balcony of a second-floor apartment during the operation and was then taken to hospital for treatment. Police seized the stolen money and other evidence; the men were due to appear before a judge considering pre-trial detention.
