Man threatens police officers with knife in Munich

During a police operation at a terraced house in Munich-Solln on 10 September, a 50-year-old man allegedly struck a police officer's arm with a glass bottle, causing minor injuries. Police said he then threw the bottle towards other officers but missed them.

The man subsequently took a knife in his hand and threatened the officers, according to police. He later put the knife down, left the house and was arrested. No additional people were injured. He was placed in a psychiatric hospital and is under investigation for, among other offences, dangerous bodily harm, assault on police officers and making threats.
