Man threatens two men with knife at Karlsplatz

Federal police are searching for an unidentified man who is alleged to have held a knife during two violent incidents in Munich on the evening of 13 August. At about 21:10, he threatened and spat at two men on the intermediate level at Karlsplatz (Stachus). He then took an S6 train to Pasing, followed a 63-year-old man and pushed him several steps down the stairs leading to platform 7. The man suffered a wrist bruise and abrasions to his knee and elbow. Two passengers intervened; one was bitten before the suspect fled. According to federal police, the man also held a knife in Pasing but did not use it.
