Woman arrested after knife attack in Munich
A knife attack followed a verbal argument in the stairwell of an apartment building in Munich on 5 July. A 48-year-old woman allegedly took a kitchen knife from her handbag and made a stabbing motion towards a 31-year-old man. He tried to fend off the attack and suffered a minor injury to his hand.
Another resident took the knife away from the woman. Police later arrested her in her apartment and took her to a psychiatric hospital because of her conspicuous and dangerous behaviour. She was reported for dangerous bodily harm and insult, and the knife was seized.
