Knife threat at Munich residential home
An altercation between two residents took place at a residential home in Munich-Giesing on 23 February 2025. A 63-year-old resident is alleged to have then drawn a knife and threatened a 39-year-old resident. The threatened man fled to a member of staff at the home. Police arrested the 63-year-old and transferred him to a detention facility after processing the report. He is being investigated for assault and making threats, and an investigating judge was due to decide on custody.
