Witnesses threatened with pocketknife during attempted robbery in Moers
On the evening of Sunday, 20 September, a masked man entered a tanning salon in Moers through the rear entrance. At about 9:50 p.m., police said, he tried and failed to open the cash register himself. When witnesses approached, he drew a pocketknife, held it in front of himself and told them to remain where they were. He then fled on foot through the rear exit. Police are investigating whether he was also responsible for a robbery the previous day.
