Man seriously injured in Mönchengladbach – suspect remanded in custody

A 36-year-old man suffered serious stab wounds during a dispute in a flat in Mönchengladbach on 3 February. According to the current investigation, a 19-year-old is alleged to have injured him with a knife. The injured man was admitted to hospital and remains in intensive care; an immediate threat to his life could initially not be ruled out. Police secured a suspected weapon at the scene. The suspect was arrested and has been remanded in custody on suspicion of attempted manslaughter and dangerous bodily harm.
