Man seriously injured in Mindelheim stabbing
A 38-year-old man was seriously injured by multiple knife wounds on Sunday evening in the car park of a hospitality venue in Mindelheim. He was taken to hospital and admitted as an inpatient; police said he was not in danger of dying.
Police consider a 26-year-old man to be the suspect. He initially fled but was arrested without resistance shortly afterwards. A judge issued and enforced a detention order following a prosecution request that included suspicion of attempted manslaughter. Criminal police are continuing to investigate the precise sequence of events.
