Teenager injured with knife in Mindelheim
A 44-year-old resident at an accommodation facility for refugees in Mindelheim is alleged to have injured a teenager with a knife during the night from Sunday to Monday. Police said an argument over noise developed around midnight after the teenager and his mother had asked the woman to be quiet. She is alleged to have retrieved a knife from her room and stabbed the teenager. He struck her with his fist while defending himself, leaving her with minor injuries. Both received medical treatment. The teenager was admitted to hospital but is not in life-threatening condition. The woman is suspected of attempted homicide, and a detention warrant was executed after her court appearance. The investigation is ongoing.
