Man threatens bar employee in Memmingen with pocketknife

A 33-year-old guest allegedly threatened an employee with a pocketknife outside a bar on Baumstraße in Memmingen at about 00:25 on 23 August. The 36-year-old employee had previously expelled the intoxicated guest from the bar, and the two then tried to settle the ensuing dispute outside. The employee ran back into the bar, obtained animal repellent spray and sprayed it into the guest's face, slightly injuring him. Police are investigating the guest for making threats and the employee for dangerous bodily harm.
