Man allegedly injured mother with knife in Memmingen
A 29-year-old man is suspected of attacking his mother with a knife in their shared home in Memmingen on Friday morning. The woman suffered stab wounds to her upper body and was seriously injured but described as being in stable condition after receiving medical treatment. The man was arrested. A placement detention order was issued and he was taken to a psychiatric hospital. Investigations into the motive and circumstances are ongoing.
